Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take for me to get my professional photos?

From quote approval to final proof, there is a 1-2 week turnaround. Rush orders can be requested for an additional fee. They are subject to availability.


What is the best way to send the product to the studio?

You can have your product shipped to us via a courier. After the quote has been approved by you, we will send shipping information and a reference number. You’ll then send us your product along with the reference number. For shipping costs, please visit our Shipping Details page.


What is the payment process?

Once a quote is approved, we’ll provide an invoice. All payments are to be made in full upon approval of the proof. Final images will be delivered once full payment has been received.


How do I receive the final version of my product photos?

After full payment has been received, high resolution images will be sent to you via a digital download.


How compatible will my product photos be?

Images are compatible with PC or mac, and are ready for web and/or print.


In what format will I receive the final version of my product photos?

Product photos with a white background, hand model images, and lifestyle images are delivered as JPEGs – minimum 3000 pixels (longest edge). That means the image can be printed up to 10 inches in size (longest size) at 300 dpi or, 20 inches in size (longest edge) at 150 dpi. Product photos with a transparent background images are delivered in PNG format – minimum 3000 pixels (longest edge). That means the image can be printed up to 10 inches in size (longest size) at 300 dpi or, 20 inches in size (longest edge) at 150 dpi. Hero shots are delivered as layered TIFs – minimum 7200 pixel (longest edge). That means the image can be printed up to 24 inches in size (longest size) at 300 dpi or, 48 inches in size (longest edge) at 150 dpi.


What happens to the product after it has been photographed?

You can have your product shipped back by providing a UPS or Fedex account number. For shipping costs, please visit our Shipping Details page. Alternatively, we can donate the product to charity or discard it.


What happens if a mistake is made in the final version of images?

If we have made a mistake, we will gladly reshoot or edit the photos at no extra charge. Reshoots due to client error or omission will be quoted at the time of the change request.


Will my product photos be edited?

Yes. All editing is done by our knowledgeable photo retouchers. Retouching includes removing dust, scratches and minor defects. Our hero shots retouching goes further to include correcting manufacturer errors like crooked labels, mold seams, gaps, damaged packaging, etc. We take care to prepare your product for the photoshoot by cleaning the product, garment steaming, stuffing bags, minor assembly – whatever the shot needs!


Where and how can I use my product images?

All images are royalty free. This means you can use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like. We retain the copyrights for delivered photos. The photographs may not be re-sold to any third party without prior written permission.
